Week 2: Reflection

First time I access the Nicenet for Week 2, I saw 3 assaignment  : DISCUSSION: Web Searching, TASK: ABCD Objectives, and  FINAL PROJECT: Step 1. I started to write on the Discussion and Final Project Step 1.
I was impressed by the spirit that other groupmates have. They have started to post on discussion as early and it was also encouraging me to start my learning. I started to read their posting and tried to give my response to their thought and hope that I can also contribute to their learning. My own posting for the assignment was made on 01/14/14 at 6:29 AM PST. Today, when I accessed it again, I am glad to find reply from Ouorda, Lupita, and Kamlesh. Thank you for your responses. I feel that I am in real class again.

Also, at the same day I posted my planning for the Final Project Step 1. I planned to use this interactive webskill to teach Grammar classes and Writing (Non-Credit) group. However, I got the information that there will be possibilities that I will be given another classes related to TV Broadcasting, This classes will be integrating between English skills and broadcasting knowledge. So... I am thinking about changing my planning for the final project. Unfortunately, I am not sure whether it is allowed.
Should I consult about it to the instructor?????

The ABCD Objective reading material was very helpful. I realize why my classes did not run as I expected and I mostly ended up with disappointment.  It was not totally because the low English proficiency and low motivation issue that I dealt with, but also the high exception that I had implemented to my students. I am sorry for this. However, a big homework is on me; how to design a good teaching planning and materials suit these students' proficiency and motivation meanwhile the curriculum and higher degree education require above their average skills. 

I also have done my best to provide students skills on simple web searching on Google to help them prepare for their essay. Yet, I  have taught my students how to do web searching on Google for material they need for their references. I am wondering how this Week 2 lesson will be applicable for my teaching context. Is it handy for the teachers only or will be also resourceful for my specific contexxt on teaching?
